Pick-up and drop in Gurugram and Noida: how to price and plan it

27 Oct 2026 · 1 min read · Delhi NCR

Pick-up and drop can bring customers from sectors and societies far from your workshop. Done badly, it eats your driver's day. Here is a simple way to plan it.

Decide your area by PIN code

List the PIN codes you will serve. Charge a normal fee for near areas and a higher fee for far ones, or say no. Customers understand a clear list.

Fix time slots

Morning (9–11), afternoon (2–4) and evening slots work for most offices. Limit how many vehicles one driver can collect in a slot.

Protect yourself and the customer

  • Note the kilometre reading and fuel level at pick-up.
  • Take four photos of the vehicle: front, back and both sides.
  • Give the customer a short code to share with the driver, and another code at hand-over.

Pricing ideas

  • A fixed pick-up charge, free above a certain bill amount.
  • Extra for Sunday or same-day service.
  • A small advance by UPI to confirm the booking reduces no-shows.

Keep the customer informed

Send a message when the vehicle is picked up, when work starts, when it is ready and when it is on the way back.

Tip: start with one driver and two slots a day. Grow when the slots fill up.
