Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data the SCMS provider ("we") handles in SCMS, why, and your choices. It is written to follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Two kinds of data
- About you, our customer: the business name, owner's name, mobile, email, address, GSTIN and payment details you give when you sign up, ask for a demo or contact us. We are responsible for this data.
- Inside your SCMS: the data you enter about your customers, vehicles, staff, bills and stock. You decide what goes in and why; we handle it only on your instructions, to run SCMS for you.
2. What we use it for
- To create and run your SCMS, bill you, and give support.
- To call or message you about your account, a demo or a trial you asked for.
- To keep SCMS safe: sign-in records, the audit log and backups.
We do not sell personal data and do not use the data inside your SCMS for advertising.
3. Who else sees it
- Our hosting provider stores SCMS and its backups.
- Email, SMS, WhatsApp and Telegram messages go through the accounts you connect; those providers receive the message and phone number.
- Online payments go through the payment gateway (for example Razorpay), which receives what is needed to take the payment.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
Your account data is kept while you use SCMS and as long as tax law requires for our bills. After your account ends, the data inside your SCMS is kept for 30 days so you can download it, then deleted. Demo and enquiry details are deleted when no longer needed, or when you ask.
5. Security
Each business has its own database. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, connections use HTTPS, and every sign-in and change is recorded. No system is perfectly safe; if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent to messages. Businesses using SCMS can correct or delete their customers' data themselves; we help when asked.
7. Cookies
SCMS uses only the cookies it needs: one to keep you signed in and one to remember your language. No advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Contact and grievances

We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version.
