Mornings are chaotic and afternoons are empty in many workshops. Slots spread the work.
Count your capacity
Number of bays × working hours ÷ average job time = vehicles per day. Do not promise more.
Book the morning
Encourage bookings for drop-off between 9 and 11. Walk-ins fill the gaps.
Promise realistic times
Use the average time for each type of job when promising delivery.
Watch the board
A job board showing each vehicle's status tells you at a glance where the work is stuck.
