Many workshops sell parts over the counter to mechanics and customers. Without a bill, that money and stock disappear from your records.
Always make a bill
Even for a small part. It keeps stock correct and your GST records complete.
Know your minimum price
Set a minimum selling price for each part so staff never sell below cost.
Customer details
For regular buyers (local mechanics), save their name and number. You can offer credit with a limit.
End of day
Counter sales should appear in your daily cash closing like any other bill.
